Science and Technology Initiative
Real Alternatives
If our communities are to thrive and develop certain inner city living conditions must be addressed. Many of the far-reaching problems affecting the diaspora can be best addressed by applying available technologies and sciences. Sadly, not enough of these technologies are in the hands of those who need them.
Increasing utility prices, urban sprawl, the detriments of air and water pollution, and the related health concerns all emphasize the need to get involved with the development of alternative energy methods and sustainable living sciences.
The Sci-Tech Initiative offers workshops and supplemental education programs focusing on independent energy sources, filtration and purification systems, victual production and distribution, and sustainable living.
